On August 8, Dmitri Polyanski, first deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN condemned Western support for terrorism at the UN Security Council Briefing on threats to international peace and security.
"Acting at the behest of, under the supervision of, and in close co-operation with its NATO masters, this [Kiev] regime does not hesitate to use blatantly terrorist methods," he said and exposed that the the regime recently used weapons supplied by the West to perpetrate the terrorist attack on the Kursk Oblast.
"Weapons supplied by Western countries to Ukraine can end up in the hands of criminal and terrorist groups in various regions of the world," he said. "The data we provided as proof of this were confirmed by representatives of African states and European law enforcement agencies."
He emphasized that Russia urges the specialized experts of the United Nations not to ignore this data, but to carefully study them, and assess the role of Western special services and their Ukrainian underlings in organizing and facilitating such terrorist attacks.
