Youth Open-Air Theatre built in Sariwon

The Sariwon Youth Open-Air Theatre was built at the picturesque foot of Mt Sangmae.


The theatre, equipped with acoustic and lighting facilities, consists of a 5 000-seat auditorium, hobby group rooms, makeup room and sci-tech learning space.


It will contribute to the education of young people and students and the cultural and leisure activities of people.


Its inaugural ceremony took place on November 24.


Present there were Pak Chang Ho, chairman of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Im Hun, chairman of the North Hwanghae Provincial People’s Committee, officials and working people in the province, its employees and builders.


Pak Chang Ho delivered an inaugural address.


After the ceremony, the participants looked round the theatre.
