Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a reply message from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on November 22.
The message expressed thanks to Kim Jong Un for sending congratulations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the corrective movement in Syria.
It expressed the belief that a fresh chapter of the development of the bilateral cooperative relations would be ushered in through closer mutual cooperation in various fields in the interests of the peoples of the two friendly countries.
The president wished Kim Jong Un good health.
